Getting Around

Transportation

DFW is car country, but you have options. Here's how to move between airports, hotels, fan zones, and the stadium without losing your mind.

Arriving by air

Two major airports serve the metroplex.

  • DFW International (DFW) — 5th busiest in the world, ~12 mi from AT&T Stadium.
  • Dallas Love Field (DAL) — Southwest hub, closer to downtown Dallas.
  • Both connect to the metro by DART rail, TEXRail (DFW only), rideshare, and rental cars.

DART & TEXRail

Light rail across Dallas, Plano, Irving, and DFW Airport.

  • DART Rail connects downtown Dallas to DFW Airport (Orange Line) and Plano (Red Line).
  • TEXRail links DFW Airport to downtown Fort Worth in ~50 minutes.
  • GoPass app for tickets. Day passes ~$6 cover unlimited rides.

Matchday shuttles

Direct stadium service on match days.

  • Trinity Metro and DART run dedicated shuttles from major hotels and park-and-ride lots.
  • FIFA Fan Fest shuttles connect Fair Park and downtown Dallas to AT&T Stadium.
  • Service starts ~4 hours before kickoff and runs ~2 hours after the final whistle.

Rideshare

Uber and Lyft are widely available — plan ahead.

  • Designated rideshare pickup zones operate at all DFW venues.
  • Surge pricing spikes 60–90 minutes before/after matches. Walk 10 minutes from the stadium to cut fares.
  • Both airports have dedicated rideshare terminals — follow signs to TNC pickup.

Driving & parking

Plentiful but priced for matchdays.

  • 30,000+ parking spaces around AT&T Stadium. Pre-purchase via the stadium's official lot map.
  • Gates open ~3 hours before kickoff. Expect 45–60 min to exit after the match.
  • I-30 is the main artery — traffic backs up 2 hours pre-match.

Walking & micro-mobility

Bike share and walkable districts.

  • Downtown Dallas, Bishop Arts, and Fort Worth's Sundance Square are best explored on foot.
  • Bird and Lime scooters operate citywide; check geofences near venues.
  • BikeDFW maintains protected bike routes through downtown and Trinity Trails.
